We produced an introductory film for Inclusion Scotland, a national Disabled People’s Organisation led by disabled people, working to remove barriers and ensure disabled people are fully included throughout Scottish society. Built around the organisation’s values and the lived experiences of its members, the film introduces who Inclusion Scotland is, what it stands for, and why disabled people must be at the heart of decisions that affect their lives.
Accessibility was a core part of the production from day one, not something added at the end. We worked closely with the team throughout development, providing subtitled review drafts to ensure everyone could participate fully in the feedback process. The finished film was delivered with subtitles and a British Sign Language (BSL) version, helping it reach the widest possible audience. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with Inclusion Scotland to ensure every creative decision reflected their values, resulting in a film that is informative, authentic, and accessible by design.
“Production Attic helped bring our vision to life with creativity, sensitivity and professionalism from start to finish. This was a complex project that needed to balance the history of the disabled people’s movement, the work of Inclusion Scotland, and the lived experiences of disabled people today. The team took the time to understand our values, worked collaboratively throughout the process, and created a film that is both powerful and accessible.
Their ability to capture authentic stories, translate complex ideas into compelling visual content, and respond positively to feedback resulted in a final film that reflects our organisation and the wider disability rights movement with integrity.
We are delighted with the outcome and would highly recommend Production Attic to organisations looking for thoughtful, high-quality storytelling.”
